The University of Tokyo.
The University of Tokyo was established in 1877 as the first national university in Japan. The university aims to provide its students with a rich and varied academic environment that ensures opportunities for both intellectual development and the acquisition of professional knowledge and skills. Somebody call it Todai.
The University of Tokyo is known for the excellence of its faculty and students and ever since its foundation many of its graduates have gone on to become leaders in government, business, and the academic world. High school students who can entrance to this university will be a great honor and their family would very proud of them. Sometime they might be an hero for family and school, if they can entrance to Tokyo University.
Many of japanese high school student want to entrance to this university. You might heard a news that about some high school student kill themself because they can not entrance to this university. It just like Thailand that some high school student kill themself because they can't entrance to Chulalongkron University. I think it is wrong and it must be change now. Every universities have a good side. The most famouse universities are the oldest university, because it have more time to developed themself.
